The simulation of flood discharge in Citarum River Indonesia using HEC – RAS 5.0.7 programming

The roads Citarum River is the lengthiest and largest river in Province of West Java, Indonesia. It located one areas Bandung Basin regency. has an overflow caused by heavy rainfalls which overwhelm its initial capacity this often causes flooding. This research was conducted to determine area overwhelmed rainfall using necessary methods such as hydrology hydraulic analyses well application HEC-RAS 5.0.7 offers a one-dimensional design cross-section. Moreover, planned discharge on recurring periods 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 years calculated Hydrograph Synthetic Unit Method Nakayasu. results showed annual values for Q2years 229.18 m3/sec, Q5years 279.35 Q10years 310.20 Q25years 344.24 Q50years 369.79 Q100years 397.85 m3/sec. These were used HEC – RAS outcomes further cross-sectional with highest designated be overwhelmed.
